Yes, despite using a VPN, there can still be geo-blocking. Geo-blocking is a method used by websites and streaming services to restrict access based on the user's geographical location. While a VPN can help mask your actual location and make it appear as if you are accessing the internet from a different location, some websites and services have advanced methods to detect and block VPN traffic. Additionally, some content providers may have specific agreements in place with certain regions, leading to geo-blocking even when using a VPN. **

It ultimately depends on your interests and career goals. If you are more interested in living organisms, ecosystems, and the environment, then a basic course in biology (Bio) would be more suitable for you. On the other hand, if you are more interested in the physical aspects of the earth, such as rocks, minerals, and natural disasters, then a basic course in geology (Geo) would be a better fit. Consider what subjects you are more passionate about and which align more closely with your future academic or career pursuits. **

Proxy sites are often blocked by companies or governments because they allow users to bypass restrictions and access content that may be restricted in their region. While Mr. Solmecke may argue that using proxy sites to circumvent geo-blocking is not illegal, the entities blocking these sites may still view them as a threat to their control over content distribution. Additionally, blocking proxy sites helps these entities enforce their licensing agreements and protect their intellectual property rights. **
